RUDANI'S SANGATH
Vadodara, 2024
Residential
Surrounded by green landscape and highway views in the outskirts of Vadodara, this 1200 sq. ft. 4bhk apartment belongs to multi-generational family. The apartment came together along the thread of the client’s desire for a serene home that was simple, unobtrusive and monotone that allows them to pause and reflect. This project brings together minimal elegance with functional details. Constricted by smaller room dimensions, each room has been emphasized on clean lines, neutral tones and subtle details that creates inviting atmosphere.
The living room anchors a statement metal installation that connects mandir on one side and breakfast counter on the other. Sleek grey sofa against striking wall calls for relaxed evenings, coupled with a bespoke coffee table.
The monochromatic hallway consist of soft, neutral tones on the walls and doors is complemented by the sleek, marble look flooring, which enhances the corridor’s visual length and brightness. A gallery wall featuring small, framed artworks brings personality and warmth to the otherwise minimalist corridor.
In brother’s bedroom, the bed boasts velvet- finished bed back, adorned with linear patterned wallpaper that adds depth and interest in the space. The headboard’s rounded corners soften the overall feel, adding a touch of modernity while maintaining warmth.
The master bedroom here is a retreat from the world where intimacy and comfort are paramount. Lighting plays a crucial role in the space, with soft glowing custom-made lights carefully placed on both sides of the bed creates a warm inviting ambiance. Hence, these lights become an integral part of the room’s design.
Parent’s bedroom depicts minimalist aesthetics and neutral color palette. The focal point is a stunning upholstered headboard featuring a mosaic of intricate patterns in soft blues and neutrals, adding a touch of cultural richness to the space.
Overall, this project is a refined example of how minimalist design can be enriched with textures, patterns and functionality. It’s a space that feels carefully curated yet lived-in, offering a perfect blend of comfort, style and modern sophistication.
