This Architectural project is designed to sit comfortably within the community, yet carve out a distinct identity through materiality and scale. The built-form pays homage to Le Corbusier’s modernism and pairs it with brutalism to create a strong presence through its expression and the use of raw concrete and exposed brick. The visual contrast between exposed bricks, exposed concrete and green areas as well as glass windows helps in this delineation as well. The detailing of the facade is done by arranging bricks in curves that help in breaking the linear form.
